Use Sunscreen for a Slow Safe Tan
Bronzer, blush, tanning cream, tinted powder or moisturizer can give
Dying for a tan? Not literally, I hope. Learn how to have a pretty bronze glow without getting wrinkly skin. Make friends with suncreen and get a little color too.
The tan lovers among us have a struggle in summertime. Bronze skin can look absolutely beautiful, but abused wrinkled overly-tan skin is hardly pretty.
You could dedicate your youthful years to bronze and deal with the leather look later, or spend your life as a paleface girl, but I think there’s another option: look tan without ruining your skin. Sunscreen should be your key ingredient.
It’s hard for a tan lover to put on sunscreen, because blocking those lovely rays goes against the grain. But using sunscreen is pretty powerful. You get to choose not only the condition of your skin, but just how tan you will or won’t be.
If you opt to protect your skin with sunblock but still want some color, you’ve got lots of options: bronzer, blush, tanning cream, tinted powder or moisturizer among them. Or you can use a low-level block and let a few rays in. You could wind up at the end of summer with just the perfect amount of color this way, sans burn. Either way, you’re going to feel like a powerful bronze baby.
Try using a moisturizer or foundation that contains a little sunblock. That way, you don’t have to load your skin with extra product, and the protection is built into your routine.
You’ll even be safe in cold weather months when you might not otherwise be thinking of skin safety. There’s nothing quite like a tan, but one you choose yourself, and the long-lasting beautiful skin that results, is the most beautiful option you have
