Have you been wondering what the “steeping” part of my title is about?

I realize that I need to do a better job of incorporating the tea I love into the beauty of this site.  Most blogs I visit promote coffee, well, I’m sorry to say that I drink coffee and enjoy it when I do but I’m really looking for serenity and beauty.  Tea gives you both and is delicious to me, I don’t normally add sugar, I just like the feeling of drinking something pure and good for me.

I drink any and all types of tea.  I first started liking tea while living in Japan… I worked as an English Communications Instructor for 4 years and it is their custom to serve a beverage.  I didn’t really like coffee and it seemed like more trouble, so I would ask for tea.  They always had the water ready so it was very practical.

 It’s been a few weeks since I made myself some tea, I’ll blame the heat and basic laziness (not wanting to do anything extra).  Now I’m turning a new leaf - AGAIN!  let the tea steeping being…

I’m happy to report I’m safely back from BlogHer07.  Back in the swing of things, we will head to the park “where grandma hurt she back” (girl2004).  All that traveling is hard on my skin for a couple of reasons… I’m sure the altitude does something to it, but also, I don’t drink water as much, I can’t stand using public restrooms and touching things — ewww! 

 I’m also disorganized and forgot moisturizer for my purse with all the worry of keeping things in the little ziploc to appease TSA!  That is soo annoying by the way…

Every once in a while, especially when I’m stressed out or not eating well, I get some acne on my face. Sometimes for no apparent reason… There is nothing more annoying to me than having uncontrollable acne! but what to do about it is not always easy.  If only someone would teach us what to do about our skin, what products to use when there are so many to choose from.  Like any job, we need the right tools, a roadmap on how to solve the problem.

if you’re reading this site you are probably a mommy and pressed for time, but are you taking the extra step of eating to be beautiful?  I’m not just talking about eating for weightloss or maintenance but eating for a real glow to your skin.

 Our skin is our largest organ and it radiates when it’s properly hydrated and maintained.   I notice a huge difference when I eat good salads and lots of veggies… speaking of veggies, we’re going to harvest our first 2 zuchinis tomorrow morning for dinner!! I’ve been thinking about drying my hair… I don’t get to do it often, I almost always let my hair air dry.  I like when I do get to do it but with the kids you know it’s last on the list of things to do.

 I’m curious though, when you do blowdry your hair do  you use a brush or just your fingers?  do you use any product or just natural?  I have a spray I just bought but never get to use it either - if I leave it on the sink area my kids have sprayed each other and if I put it under the counter I don’t think  about it, consequently not using it…

I do need to buy a new hair dryer, maybe one of those super fast drying ones will inspire me to get my hairdo going again.

If you have hyperpigmentations of the spin rom age spots, liver spots, freckles or skin pigmentation you may be looking for a clean, fresh looking start for summer.  A good skin lightner is needed to gradually lighten/whiten the skin’s color.  Whenever I think of skin lightening I think of poor Jan Brady cutting up lemons and rubbing on her face, us women with freckles sure have been through a lot!  If only the right products were available!
